The entertainment lineup for the 2018 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix has been unveiled.
Set to take place at the Marina Bay Street Circuit from 14th till 16th September, this year’s anticipated event will include a group of heavyweights from the music industry. They include Mandopop king Jay Chou, British pop sensation Dua Lipa, Dutch dance music star Martin Garrix, former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, American alternative rock band The Killers, and more.
Aside from the artists mentioned above, Mercury Prize-winning Scottish trio Young Fathers, British pop-soul veterans Simply Red, American hip-hop pioneers The Sugarhill Gang, Japanese rock band Sekai No Owari and ABBA impersonators Bjorn Again are also included in the list.
Fans can also expect local Singaporean acts such as DJ-producer Myrne, indie band M1LDL1FE, pop-jazz singer Miss Lou, and Joanna Dong to take the stage. Also on the lineup are Abby Simone x MMLD, Picks and Matteblacc.
Looking at the newly-released poster, Chou will be performing on the first day, The Killers and Gallagher on Saturday, followed by Garrix and Lipa on Sunday.
Tickets for the 11th edition of the Singapore night race will start from S$38 for single-day wheelchair accessible platforms and $78 for single-day walkabouts with access to the performance areas in Zone 4, which includes the Padang stage.
