Can’t wait for EXO‘s special winter album to be released? Neither can we.
Ahead of the album release, the group’s talent agency SM Entertainment built anticipation by releasing new teaser images and more details regarding the album.
While their new album will be a winter-themed album, the newly-released teaser image strangely depicts all EXO members in a space suit. Needless to say, fans are dying to find out what the group has in store for them.
Titled “Sing For You”, EXO’s special winter album will be released at 12am KST on 10th December (Thursday) through several online music sites including Melon and Genie. The group will also drop the physical album that day.
As we’ve previously reported, EXO will be making their comeback with 2 title tracks which are titled “Sing For You” and “Unfair”.
“Sing For You”, which is revealed to be a pop-ballad track, is about the “expressions of love that people often find embarrassing to confess”. The song is accompanied with an acoustic guitar sound that suits the members’ voices. Paired with a keyboard, “Unfair” is a medium tempo pop song with a trendy and bright melody. Its lyrics are about the boys telling their feelings to the person they love in a witty manner.
Other tracks that will be featured in the 5-track album include “Girl x Friend”, “On the Snow”, and “Lightsaber“. According to Soompi, “Girl x Friend” is a medium tempo R&B hip-hop track while “On the Snow” is a pop track. As for “Lightsaber”, it is the same track that was released in promotion for the upcoming “Star Wars” movie, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens“.

The 9-member idol boy group is almost ready to celebrate Christmas with their fans as they’ve released 3 more teaser images for their upcoming winter album, “Sing For You”.

The album is highly anticipated by fans because it will mark their first winter-themed album in 2 years since the release of “Miracles in December” in 2013. It is expected to receive warm responses from fans because “Miracles in December” performed well both domestically and internationally.
EXO will be having a comeback showcase titled “EXO COMEBACK STAGE Sing for You” on 10th December at Lotte World. The showcase will be broadcast through Naver‘s V App. They will also start promoting “Sing For You” on 12th December on MBC’s “Music Core”, following by another performance at SBS‘s “Inkigayo” on 13th December.
