We’ve seen plenty of celebrity cheating allegations over the years with the most recent one being influencer-entrepreneur View Chin cheating on his wife Shermine with one of his staff members, Mira. Ouch! The revelation was made by Shermine herself on her Facebook page earlier this week.
Other than being accused of cheating, the View Fashion founder was also accused of being a terrible boss. A former employee recently came forward with her story to expose the businessman for the things he allegedly did when she was working at his company.
A netizen who goes by Hanim Rose took to her Twitter to share her experiences of working for View Chin after a video of him beating his wife circulated online. In her thread, the former employee said she never regretted resigning from her job at his company. “He was a terrible boss even before the cheating scandal. He wasn’t only toxic in his marriage but he was toxic to us staff as well,” she tweeted.
The netizen explained that she once worked as a fashion designer at the entrepreneur’s company where she was only paid RM2.5K despite the amount of work she’s done as well as working overtime. “We couldn’t even go on leave or holidays. We worked day and night even on weekends. It’s no wonder people quit within a short period,” the woman said. She also claimed that workers’ probation would be extended as the founder kept delaying their confirmation letters.
The fashion designer further stated that employees at the company never received their salaries on time and that her former boss would treat them poorly after returning from their sick leaves. Not only that, but she also claimed that View Chin actually tried to have his way with her, in the guise of staff evaluation. “He always invites me out for meals but he’ll only talk about his personal life and relationships. I was never comfortable around him and I refused to be a homewrecker,” she tweeted.
Apparently, the employees actually tried to warn Shermine about her husband’s infidelity but she loved him too much at the time to believe their warnings. As for Mira, Hanim accused her of being just as terrible as the influencer as she took advantage of her relationship with her boss. The Twitter user ended the thread by advising netizens to not come for View Chin’s wife and daughter as she believes they are innocent.
“The only people to blame are View Chin and the homewrecker. Both have their own toxic traits. Please support and protect Miss Shermine,” Hanim wrote. At the time of writing, View Chin has yet to address the former employee’s accusations. He did however release a statement saying that he’ll properly address everything that has happened soon. Guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens next.
