Ex-Employee Claims Boss At Kelantan Daycare Centre Told Her To Pay The Bills After Resigning

In the age of social media, many have taken the opportunity to expose their bosses and companies for the mistreatment they’ve had to endure. In some cases, there wasn’t much concrete evidence provided but the accusations alone were enough to tarnish someone’s reputation.

Recently, an ex-employee of a daycare centre took to Facebook to expose her boss for lying to her about a contract and making her pay for the bills even after she allegedly resigned. Here’s the full story:

Yesterday (Monday, 5th June), a netizen who goes by Annisaa Annasya posted on the Iklan Jawatan Kosong Kelantan Facebook page about her experience of working at a daycare centre called Taska Adwa Widad. The ex-employee claimed that she had to pay for the electricity and water bills after only 2 weeks of working. “I was only paid RM600 a month and was told to contribute because I was new here,” she wrote.

The woman decided to resign but was rejected as the boss, who she referred to as Puan Nur, told her that she signed a 4-month contract. However, the netizen claimed that she didn’t even sign any documents, even during the interview. She also accused her boss of threatening to sue her if she were to quit. When the ex-employee’s mother came to confront her, the boss refused to even meet in person.

“I still resigned but Puan Nur insisted that I should pay for the bills as well as for the meals that I had during my stay at the daycare,” Annissa shared. She also mentioned that she has 4 witnesses to support her boss’s mistreatment and hopes that justice will be served.

Instead of releasing an official statement regarding the accusations, Nurr Darfiena, presumably the accused former employer, posted on the same Facebook page to notify everyone that she has filed a police report against the accuser. “And to those who spread slander without any proof, just you wait,” she wrote. Scrolling through the comments, netizens seemed to be on Annissa’s side with some showing concern for children’s well-being at the centre.

At the time of writing, there has been no update from both parties or the Kota Bharu authorities regarding this case.
