The recently launched The Exchange TRX mall may have a few hiccups in the beginning but it still offers a lot of exciting things for customers – including the anticipated launch of Malaysia’s first-ever official Apple Store!

While it was never officially announced by Apple, many are already aware of the retail store after a photo of the building’s construction surfaced online last year. Apart from the photo, not much is known about the store but here are some things locals can look forward to.

While the famous Apple logo is nowhere to be seen on the building itself, the official stores tend to have unique designs. The rumoured store, located at the 10-acre rooftop park called TRX City Park, has a similar layered design to the one in Singapore. If that isn’t convincing enough, someone managed to catch a glimpse of workers setting up the Apple logo in front of the store.

The advantages of having an official Apple Store in Malaysia

SOURCE: APPLE

Having our very own Apple Store in Kuala Lumpur has a lot of advantages. Here are some of the things users can expect:

  1. Malaysian customers no longer have to wait for newly released Apple products.
  2. Customers can have customised engravings or personalisations on their Apple products at the official store.
  3. Customers can apply for an Apple Card that offers less interest and unlimited 3% Daily Cashback on Apple purchases.
  4. Official AppleCare Products service will be available for customers.
  5. Apple Classes anyone? Similar to the one in Singapore, those who are new to Apple can learn how to use their products in weekly classes at the official store.

So when exactly will this official store open at The Exchange TRX? While the official launch date has not been disclosed yet, according to several reports, Malaysia’s first Apple Store in TRX is set to open in February 2024.
