A few more days to go before Hari Raya Aidilfitri, and we’re pretty sure that most of us will be going back to our hometown to celebrate the festivity with our family and relatives. Heck, some of us have already went back last weekend!

However, for those celebrating Raya in Klang Valley area, you will have the opportunity to visit one particular open house in Putrajaya on the first day of Hari Raya.

That’s right! Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and the entire Cabinet will be hosting an open house at the Seri Perdana Complex on Wednesday, 5th June 2019, and everyone is invited!

The Prime Minister’s Department said in a statement today, that the open house will take place from 10am to 4.30pm. “Members of the public are invited to come by wearing appropriate attire,” read the statement.

To make it easier for the public to reach Seri Perdana Complex, a free shuttle bus service will be made available from three locations; Putrajaya Sentral, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque and Putra Mosque, starting at 9.30am.

The public can park their respective vehicles at the three locations and take the shuttle bus to make a return trip to the complex, the statement said.

It is expected that more than 50,000 people will attend and enliven the Hari Raya event.
