This October, Element Kuala Lumpur is turning pink once again, as it brings back its highly anticipated “Pink-tastic Gathering” high tea event at the scenic TRACE Restaurant & Bar. With a commitment to making a difference during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the hotel has teamed up with Tilley, Australia’s oldest manufacturer of soap and home fragrance products, and the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) to raise awareness and support vital programs for breast cancer detection.
Following last year’s resounding success, the 2024 “Pink-tastic Gathering” high tea will run daily from 1st to 31st October, with RM5 from every set sold going directly to BCWA. The funds will be used to support BCWA’s essential initiatives, including providing free clinical breast examinations to women across Malaysia.
This year’s high tea set promises to be as indulgent as it is meaningful, with TRACE’s Executive Chef Taib Ridhwan and Sous Chef Hasrul Hawari curating a visually stunning and flavorful pink-themed menu. Highlights include the Smoked Duck Tortilla Cone, Poached Half Shell Scallop with Seaweed Salad, Almond Coated Pink Cake Pop, and Raspberry Mousse Cream Puff.
For those with a penchant for sweet treats, the six specially crafted desserts are a must-try. Each set, priced at RM168 nett for two, includes a pot of Dilmah hot tea, ensuring a sophisticated yet relaxing experience for all guests.
The “Pink-tastic Gathering” aims to create a space where passionate individuals can come together, enjoy delicious treats, and engage in meaningful conversations, all while supporting a critical cause. Breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers among women, and early detection is key in saving lives.
