The late Goo Hara (구하라)’s brother, Goo Hoin (구호인) recently celebrated his 2nd wedding anniversary as well as his wife’s birthday with a touching post online.
It’s revealed Hoin has another reason to celebrate; the couple are currently expecting a baby! Earlier today (Tuesday, 3rd March), Hoin took to his Instagram to personally announce the thrilling news.

He posted throwback photos of his wedding day and also an ultrasound image of their child. The spotlight, though, was on the heartfelt caption. In this case, Hoin expressed that he felt empty knowing that his one and only sister is no longer around to meet the new addition.

“Today is our 2nd wedding anniversary as well as the birthday of my beloved wife, Seohyun. Our Hari (Hara’s nickname given by her brother) used to buy us supplements as she couldn’t wait to see her first nephew or niece..
“My sister would often go around singing, vowing she would do anything for her first nephew or niece, even sending them to college. I literally hoped that you’ll be reborn as my daughter. And I prayed that I can raise you with all the love that we didn’t get from our own parents.
Just a week later, my wish came true. It’s a girl. We named her Harin – you said the name was pretty. Please look over your niece so that she grows up well. I wonder, would this have happened if we had known this a week earlier..? I’m sorry, and I miss you so much.. I love you, Seohyun, and happy birthday. Let’s raise our Harin well.”
