Instead of being limited to virtual love online, those in Malaysia can send loved ones a Pizza Heart, even if they’re currently stranded across the borders in Singapore.
In conjunction with Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day, let us be reminded that we should always cherish and express our love and care to the important people in our lives. This season, Pizza Hut is offering those in Malaysia a chance to express simple physical love gestures to put a smile on someone’s face.
Pizza Hut Malaysia decided to take matters into their own hands by reaching out across the borders to its branches in Singapore. “Our hearts this year were deeply moved by the cases of stranded Malaysians in Singapore, as they have to be physically apart from their loved ones in order to make ends meet,” said Emily Chong, Chief Marketing Officer of Pizza Hut Malaysia.
She continued, “Hence, we’ve kept in touch with the families that are going through separation difficulties and are helping them to send their ‘hearts’ to their loved ones in Singapore. Hopefully this heart warming Pizza Heart experience that they could taste, feel and hug physically, could make the distance more bearable, rekindling the relationships that has been separated by the borders.”
“During these unprecedented times, we are also sharing love and appreciation to our frontliners who are going above and beyond, selflessly nursing Malaysians back to health. They truly deserve all the ‘hearts’ in the world and we want to send them a piece of our heart, as we wish them all the love in their lives too,” Emily added.
