Diplo to rock out with Robert Plant!
As most of you know by now, Diplo likes to cross-pollinate, as seen by his boundless array of collaborations: Madonna, Ariana Grande, MØ, and CL have all recorded with the superstar producer. On the other end of the musical spectrum is legendary English rock band Led Zeppelin.
Undeniably one of the greatest rock bands of all time, Led Zeppelin’s mark on modern music is unmistakable. Unfortunately, the band band split and each surviving member have each moved on with solo projects over the last 40 years, which leads to this upcoming collaboration between Diplo and Robert Plant, best known as Led Zeppelin’s frontman.
Following Skrillex‘s work with Robby Krieger and the late Ray Manzarek of The Doors on “Break’n A Sweat“, it’s safe to say that Diplo is now bridging a huge generation gap by linking one of the most influential rockstars and unmistakable voices of all time to dance music.
As of now, a simple Instagram posting is the only evidence to show of the collaboration, but with two titans of this stature in the studio together, one can expect Diplo and Robert Plant’s collaboration to be a brilliant one.
