Actress and singer Diana Danielle shocked the nation when it was reported that she recently filed for divorce from her husband actor Farid Kamil. The news sparked rumours and speculations among fans but no one knows exactly what happened between the two stars as there were no obvious signs of conflict.
The exact reason for the divorce was also not disclosed other than irreconcilable differences. If anyone was in any way doubtful that the two celebs are going their separate ways, fans noticed something off about the starlet’s Instagram that would certainly put some uncertainties to rest.
Yesterday, (Monday, 20th March) Diana Danielle posted a photo of herself on her Instagram with a caption that reads, “@innershineclub live show with Lazada. Thank you for watching & congrats to the winners 🍓”. While the photo and caption were nothing out of the ordinary, many noticed that the 31-year-old had disabled her comments section to possibly prevent netizens from speculating and commenting on her divorce.
To further confirm everyone’s suspicion, all photos of the “Imaginur” star’s soon-to-be ex-husband have also been removed from her page. This may have proven that the couple’s marriage has been on the rocks. Apart from that, it was reported that the 41-year-old has been locked out of his matrimonial home since earlier this month as Diana pays for the house rental.
It is believed that the actor has also been denied from seeing his children. According to the actress’s representative, she has the right to do so since she was the one who filed for divorce. The process hasn’t been going smoothly as the father-of-two refused to recite the proclamation of divorce which led the court to order the troubled couple to go through the Conciliatory Committee (JKP) process later this month.
Speaking to Berita Harian, Farid denied rumours that there was ever any crisis in the marriage. “I still love Diana and of course, our two children, Muhammad and Aurora,” he said. When asked about what happened, he told the local news outlet that he had no problems as a husband and urged Diana to share her side of the story for clarification. At the time of writing, the actress has yet to comment on the issue.
After the news broke out, an old interview video resurfaced where the “Shine On” singer talked about marriage. “Nothing is guaranteed.
