Just yesterday (9th May), a man was allegedly murdered after a careless remark about a lady. And unfortunately, an alleged Datuk Seri was supposedly involved!

Earlier this morning (10th May), it was reported that nine suspects had been detained by the police to help with the investigation. Among them was a male suspect who is supposedly a well-known Datuk Seri. Needless to say, it has left many wondering who this ‘Datuk Seri’ is!

Around 4am on 9th May, a Chinese businessman and his girlfriend were allegedly having a late supper at a roadside stall in Melaka. However, while there, a group of Indian men, five in total, allegedly commented on the woman’s breasts. The businessman’s Indian bodyguard who overheard the remark then reprimanded them. Unfortunately, a fight broke out between the two groups instead.

During the brawl, one of the Indian men was reportedly stabbed. He later passed away after being taken to a hospital to be treated. Police were quick to take action and have reportedly arrested nine suspects, eight men and one woman, who were purportedly involved in the brawl. They will be detained until 16th May.

It was later revealed that one of the suspects supposedly holds the Datuk Seri title. According to China Press’s sources, the alleged Datuk Seri is a foreign exchange trader with branches in Melaka and Johor. Additionally, he has supposedly has carried out charity activities with political figures. China Press claims Facebook accounts of the suspect and his wife have disappeared, but has not ruled out suspicions of the accounts being deliberately removed.

Police are still investigating the matter, but have also politely asked the public to not make assumptions about the case. Either way, all we can do now is leave said investigation in the hands of the police.
