“Bring me the Flash — or else your city falls.”
At the end of the 3rd season of CW’s “The Flash”, Barry Allen aka The Flash (played by Grant Gustin) gave himself up to the Speedforce to save Central City from destruction. It was a season finale that nobody expected, and it left a huge question mark hovering over the future of Star Labs and the team.
And Iris West (played by Candice Patton).
At the annual San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, CW previewed the trailer for season 4 of “The Flash”, which focuses on how the team at Star Labs tries to move on without Barry. Without a doubt, it’s a fun trailer, as #TeamFlash is teaming up to protect the city without their main hero. Led by Iris herself, we see Wally West aka Kid Flash (played by Keiynan Lonsdale) stepping in with Cisco (played by Carlos Valdes) to fight a new big bad.
Interestingly, Caitlin Snow (played by Danielle Panabaker) returns in season 4, although she previously said that she was going off to somewhere alone to figure out what she is (at that time, she was Killer Frost).
Will the “fastest man alive” eventually return? Find out when “The Flash” premieres on 10th October 2017.
