Homestay Housekeeper Complains About Filthy “Customers From Hell”

A cleaner’s job is never easy. There’s a misconception that the job is “easy” or “for the uneducated”, but many fail to realise the hardships they have to go through on a daily basis. As a cleaner, you never know what mess is waiting for you on the other side of the door. It could be the usual small food crumbs on the sofa, or dirty dishes in the sink, or it could be a female ghost just chilling while combing her hair.

Regardless, the job of a cleaner is not easy, especially when you have to deal with a huge mess left by unethical and inconsiderate customers. Some don’t even bother to do any tidying up as they believe it’s the cleaner’s job to do all the cleaning. Unfortunately for this cleaner, she recently had to face such customers.

Facebook user Nur Izzati Nadia posted her experience of cleaning after some filthy customers who she described in the caption as “customers from hell🔥“. The professional housekeeper posted a series of photos showing the mess made by the customers after they checked out of 2 homestay apartment units.

According to the Facebook post, the customers not only left a bunch of trash around the sink area and on the dining table, but they also rearranged some of the furniture and even broke one of them. “Just because they paid for it, they think they can do whatever they want to the house? Absolutely no manners!” said the housekeeper.

The sight of the trash is enough to make anyone gag so we can’t imagine what the house must’ve smelled like before Izzati cleaned it. If that wasn’t disgusting enough, in one photo, we can see that the customers didn’t even bother cleaning up the fridge after what appears to be an ice cream cake melted in it.

Netizens are in disbelief after seeing the state of the units with one suggesting that the customers should be blacklisted. According to Nur Izzati’s replies, the customers who rented the units for 2 days were a Malay family. If this is how they behave when travelling, we wonder what their house looks like.

It was reported that the family admitted to their wrongdoings when contacted by the owner and appropriate actions have been taken against them. Let’s all be civilised people and make sure to always clean up after ourselves wherever we go.
