The 41-year-old Al-Nassr captain announced the news on Instagram, sharing a close-up photo of their wedding rings alongside a concise caption: “C❤️G”. A representative for the Portuguese star confirmed that the two officially became husband and wife during an intimate gathering in the coastal city of Cascais, Portugal, surrounded by close family members and their five children.
The couple first met in early 2017 while Rodríguez was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci boutique in Madrid. Over the past nine years, their relationship developed under intense global media attention while they raised their family together.
The civil ceremony arrives roughly a year after the pair announced their engagement in August 2025. Ronaldo previously shared how his two daughters encouraged him to propose, prompting him to present the engagement ring during a special family evening.
The family that became the focal point of Ronaldo and Georgina’s lives was constructed during the ensuing years.
In November 2017, their daughter Alana Martina was born, and in the same year, Ronaldo and Georgina welcomed twins, Mateo and Eva, via surrogacy.
The pair went through their most trying times in 2022. Bella Esmeralda, their twin sister, survived childbirth, but their son sadly passed on.
Ronaldo has talked about that traumatic event, affirming that it deepened his relationship with Georgina and that the family supported one another throughout that trying time.
