“Thank you my wonderful crazy rich family. I love you all,” the actress captioned the photo.

Yeoh plays Eleanor Sung-Young, the overbearing and controlling mother of Nick Young who is played by fellow Malaysian actor Henry Golding.

In the movie, Eleanor is against Nick’s relationship with Rachel Chu – played by Constance Wu, as she thinks that Rachel is not good enough for her perfect son.

“Of all the characters’ style, I would take Eleanor’s. She’s got all the best designs, the best jewelry. Richard Mille watch, Armani—very understated, though. Very elegant,” Yeoh told Vanity Fair in a recent interview.

Based on Kevin Kwan’s novel of the same name, the story follows Chinese American economics professor Rachel Chu, who accompanies her boyfriend Nick Young to Singapore for his best friend’s wedding. As she arrives, she finds out that her boyfriend comes from a very wealthy family with a dark past, and that every woman wants him.
