Covid-19: Aeon Bukit Tinggi & 2 More Maybank Branches Temporarily Closed

In addition to MBSB Bank along Jalan Sultan Ismail, we’ve just learnt that 2 more banks in Puchong have reported cases related to Covid-19.

The new cases comes courtesy of Malaysiakini, stating that Maybank Puchong Prima as well as Maybank Bandar Puteri Puchong are now temporarily closed.

The 2 Maybank outlets will be closed starting today (Monday, 12th October) until further notice. This is to make way for “deep-cleaning owing to possible exposure to a case involving an external person”.

Customers are advised to make transactions either online or via mobile banking channels for the time being. Alternatively, you could also visit nearby branches. Earlier this month, Maybank Sri Petaling and Maybank Wangsa Maju issued a similar notice.

Yesterday, Fitness First Malaysia issued a notice informing patrons that a gym member who exercised at Fitness First Platinum gym located inside Aeon Bukit Tinggi, Klang had tested positive for Covid-19.

Malaysiakini also noted that the following locations had also been affected:

  • Restoran Anak Mami (Bundusan), Penampang
  • SMK USJ 12, Subang Jaya – Student tested positive for Covid-19 on 9th October
  • SM AU Keramat, Kuala Lumpur
  • Taman Ambar, Alor Setar
  • Taman Tunku Putra, Kulim
  • Riana Green East Condominium, Wangsa Maju

More updates to follow.
