No matter how much they’re worth, most people would never give up their collections for money, as these limited items are considered priceless. Of course, the longer you keep them and maintain them in good condition, their value will increase, and the money could even save you from debt.
Many Pokémon fans are avid collectors of official merchandise, from video games and figurines to plushies and trading cards. Some of these cards are extremely rare, which makes them highly valuable, as collectors are willing to pay a significant amount of money to have them in their possession. This man, for some reason, is willing to give up his collection but of course, the price won’t be cheap. Here’s how much his collection is worth:

Over the long weekend, a Facebook user who goes by the name Damiral Imran posted on the Pokémon Trading Cards & Collectibles (Malaysia) page, announcing that he was selling his personal trading card collection. The post included photos of his room, which is filled with countless pieces of Pokémon merchandise. Among them, he highlighted several rare items that are highly valuable.
According to his Shiny account, his entire collection is worth over RM2 million but he’s not looking to sell all of it. As seen in the screenshot above, the young collector is currently looking to sell his Pokémon card collection for RM1,870,000, with the highest offer standing at RM1,680,000 at the time of writing.
If you don’t have that kind of money, there might already be something in your possession that you could trade. The netizen mentioned that he is willing to exchange his collection for a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, which is priced between RM268,000 and over RM1 million, depending on its age and condition, acccording to the official Porsche and Carlist.

Netizens responded to the post with many of them being mostly being impressed by the user’s collection. Some made jokes saying that they could only afford to buy the desk lamp in the photo while others asked if they could make the purchase with Shopee’s Pay Later feature. A few remarked that no one would be willing to give up a luxury car for Pokémon cards.
It’s clear that most could not afford to buy the RM1.8 million worth of Pokémon card collection. Perhaps Damiral should try advertising on a more global platform for better luck. Who knows, he might even struck gold as there are collectors around the world who are just as passionate as he is. Would you trade a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S for a rare Pokémon card collection?
