The Exchange TRX Unveils “A Tale of Spring”
The Exchange TRX is ushering in the Chinese New Year with ‘A Tale of Spring,’ a grand celebration that blends heritage with modern elegance. Guests are invited to experience a visual and sensory spectacle inspired by the beauty of Imperial Gardens. The campaign features immersive installations, live cultural performances, festive dining, exclusive shopping, and a tiered rewards programme, promising an elevated celebration.
The centrepiece of ‘A Tale of Spring’ is a grand Imperial Garden-inspired installation at the Central Exchange. Drawing inspiration from classical Chinese gardens, the display showcases lush floral arrangements, symbolic motifs, and elegant design elements.
At the heart of the garden is the Zodiac Journey Bridge, a key attraction where guests can explore 12 intricately crafted Zodiac sculptures, each representing a unique aspect of Chinese astrology. Beneath the bridge, a Blossom Tunnel adorned with vibrant blooms creates a photo-worthy moment symbolising growth and fresh beginnings. Guests can also stroll along the Bamboo Walk, leading to a serene Koi Pond and an elegant gazebo with mechanical storks – symbols of longevity and abundance.
Every weekend, The Exchange TRX will come alive with mesmerising live performances that pay homage to the rich heritage of Chinese culture. Twice daily, guests can experience a lineup of captivating acts that combine spectacle, artistry, and tradition. Here’s what went down at the launch of “A Tale of Spring,” which we attended:

Kwai Chai Hong’s “Bountiful Blessings (年年有余)” Art Installation
Kwai Chai Hong, in collaboration with Bangsar Heights Pavilion (BHP), presents “Bountiful Blessings (年年有余)”, an immersive Chinese New Year 2025 art installation celebrating the cherished idiom “Nian Nian You Yu”. Visitors are welcomed by the Blessing Bridge (滿祝桥), adorned with vibrant lanterns symbolising contentment and blessings, leading to a breathtaking display of handcrafted fish lanterns. These glowing creations blend traditional craftsmanship with modern energy-efficient LED lights, representing abundance, resilience, and hope while preserving Chinese cultural heritage.
The installation also features the Fish Lantern Parade (鱼你同行), where visitors carry radiant lanterns, becoming part of a living tradition that celebrates gratitude and the joy of sharing blessings. Open from now to 16th February, the event runs daily from 9am to 12am, with parades scheduled on 11th January and 18th January at 7pm. This collaboration embodies the harmony of heritage and innovation, offering a meaningful cultural experience for all.

Solo Leveling Experience At Pavilion Bukit Jalil
The Solo Leveling Experience offers a close-up connection to the anime world through faithfully-recreated iconic scenes, creative-themed dining, and a variety of limited-edition merchandise related to the popular IP.
On the grand opening day, the venue buzzed with excitement as fans delved into the adventures of Sung Jin-Woo and immersed themselves in the enchanting hunter universe.

Fahrenheit88’s PowerFU Prosperity
Kicking off the new year with a bang, Fahrenheit88 hosted their “PowerFU Prosperity” celebration last week. With entertaining dances, a wishing tree and a variety of stalls, the event was something not to be missed.
The centerpiece of the festive display is a large lucky cat figure, with muscular arms to usher in more fortune for everyone. There were also masters at work, creating candy art, palm paintings, and a D.I.Y. calligraphy session.

Tiger Beer’s “Together We Roar”
It may be the Year of the Snake, but we were roaring loud and proud over the weekend at Tiger’s “Together We Roar” event! The auspicious celebration saw everyone’s favourite beer brand give back to its cherished community of dedicated supporters and friends from the media.
Dedicated to uplifting the spirit of the community by bringing people together, the campaign featured energising on-ground activations, promotions, and exclusive collaborations for you to get lost in, as well as good drinks to go along with it. Held at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, “Tiger Town” was a spectacle to behold, filled with games, good food, great company, and even better beer. It was an amazing experience that we won’t soon forget.

The Lunar New Year is once again upon us. That means LEGO Malaysia is pulling out all the stops to make it another celebration you won’t soon forget! We swung over to 1Utama for the launch of LEGO’s “Realm of Possibilities” experience, and explored a dreamland full of fun and play, filled with interactive games that invite kids and kids-at-heart to let their imaginations run wild.
