It’s a Chinese New Year baby for Chryseis Tan (陈雪铃) and SM Faliq Nasimuddin! The couple announced the happy news earlier this week when the CEO of Berjaya Times Square and founder of LUMI took to Instagram to post the first photo of her precious baby boy.
“Does he look like mommy or daddy?” the 34-year-old asked on her IG Story. The cute post shows both parents gently cupping the newborn’s tiny feet and holding it up for the camera. It has since garnered almost 46k likes and over 700 comments (as at time of writing) with celeb friends and fans congratulating the family.
Chryseis previously announced her pregnancy back in September 2022 when she was already in her second trimester. The couple were trying to keep the news hush hush but eventually made it public once her baby bump became obvious. We’re stoked that their eldest child, Arianna Kyla, is now officially a big sister. Since Arianna is a spitting image of Faliq, perhaps this infant will take after mommy dearest?
Although Chryseis and Faliq had to forgo their family portrait for Chinese New Year this year, they did manage to take a sweet family snapshot (pictured above) during one of Chryseis’ pregnancy photoshoot.
