“Happy 40th birthday Chris Evans, you’ll always be number 1 in my book,” the Thor actor captioned his cheeky Instagram post. It took a minute for us to realise the punchline since it’s not always easy to keep the many Chrises straight.
Last October, fans took to a poll to rate Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pine, and Chris Pratt. These 4 white men who are not just similar in height and age, but also well-loved for their sandy hair and appearances in action movie blockbusters.
With this latest roast, even fans chimed in on the fun in the comments section. “That’s not Chris Evans, it’s Chris Pine,” one suggested. “Chris Evans looks different😂,” one fan wrote as another replied, “Man. Chris has changed over the years 😂😂😂😂😂.”
Fellow “Avengers” star Mark Ruffalo also celebrated Evans’ milestone birthday – but with less fanfare. “Sending all the virtual hugs to you on your birthday, brother! Two can play the ‘no phones on set’ game, @chrisevans,” the 53-year-old actor wrote.
