When two worlds collide, that’s when magic happens. Innovative Swiss Luxury watch brand, Franck Muller, has collaborated with Tokyo streetwear label, #FR2, for the new #FR2NCK MULLER Vanguard – and they’re celebrating its momentous unveiling with their first café takeover in Malaysia!
Now, foodies and café-hoppers have a new spot that they can explore and take some IG-worthy pics! Happening from 11th January to 17th January 2023, you can experience this pop-up at The Backroom Coffee @ The Row.
The café will be turned into an interactive space incorporating Franck Muller’s signature elements, mixed with the monochromatic palette trademark to the #FR2 brand, just in time for the Year of the Rabbit.
We got the chance to explore the #FR2NCK MULLER takeover and had a taste of the #FR2NCK MULLER specialty menu – and let’s just say it was the perfect place to relax and indulge in some surprisingly tasteful, black-and-white themed food. The menu includes items such as the Truffle Mushroom Danish, Salted Caramel Cheesecake, Charcoal Latte, and Iced Apple Oolong Tea, which will be available for a short period beginning January 13th, 2023.
In addition, the #FR2NCK MULLER collaboration will debut an Instagram filter where fans of both Franck Muller and #FR2 may share their own experiences and fun moments through adorable digital frames, which you can test out by scanning the QR code below:
This limited-edition timepiece marks the first time the two legendary brands have collaborated, blending fine Swiss luxury watchmaking with Japanese street fashion to create a charming piece that is decorated with its creators’ trademark touches throughout.
In the dark, the #FR2NCK MULLER Vanguard also has a unique twist, where the Super-Luminova has been selectively applied, such as the skeletonised obelisk hands, indices, and graphical theme that leaps from the dial.
With only 800 pieces available, it is made exclusively for the Southeast Asian and Australian markets.
