Charity Jam Session celebrated its 25th Silver Jubilee edition by surpassing RM4 million in total funds raised throughout its 25-year commitment in support of charitable causes.
The milestone was announced during the Charity Jam Session 2026 cheque presentation ceremony following the successful Silver Jubilee celebration held on 7 June 2026 at RP Entertainment Centre, The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

Charity Jam Session 2026 was co-organised by Food Aid Foundation (FAF), Professional Culinaire Association (PCA), The Society of the Golden Keys Malaysia, and Rotary Club of Metro Kuala Lumpur, together with The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur as the host venue and co-organiser.
The 25th edition also marked a record-breaking achievement, with Charity Jam Session 2026 raising RM255,819 through coupon sales and other fundraising efforts, making it the highest amount raised in the event’s history.
Making Every Note Count
Over the years, Charity Jam Session has grown into a platform that brings together the hospitality and F&B industry, musicians, sponsors, volunteers, and members of the public through music, food, and the spirit of giving back. Led by Food Aid Foundation (FAF), Professional Culinaire Association (PCA), The Society of the Golden Keys Malaysia, Rotary Club of Metro Kuala Lumpur, and The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur, the initiative continues to unite diverse partners in support of charitable causes.
The 25th Charity Jam Session welcomed approximately 1,000 attendees, making it one of the most well-attended editions in the event’s history. The event featured 11 live band performances, food and beverage offerings, lucky draws, and fundraising activities throughout the day.

This year’s edition was supported by more than 90 participating hotels, over 30 food sponsors, 78 student volunteers from KAGC College, and more than 30 volunteer chefs from Professional Culinaire Association (PCA) and Global Culinary Competition Malaysia (GCCM), alongside numerous partners and supporters.
Funds raised through Charity Jam Session continue to support beneficiaries including the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of University of Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), Food Aid Foundation (FAF), Rotary Club Metro Kuala Lumpur, and Persatuan Kemasyarakatan BSM Pacuan Empat Roda (BANTU).
This year, RM56,185.38 each will be contributed to PICU UMMC and FAF, while RM14,046.35 each will be contributed to Rotary Club Metro Kuala Lumpur and BANTU.

In addition to supporting its beneficiaries, Charity Jam Session also contributed RM5,000 each to the families of the late Yugen of The Cauliflower Robbery and the late Hussein of The Strollers, in recognition of their contributions to the local music community and the Charity Jam Session family.
Organising Chairman of Charity Jam Session, Mr. SS Rajaa, said the 25-year milestone reflects the dedication of everyone who has contributed over the years.
“Charity Jam Session has always been about bringing people together. The RM4 million milestone belongs to everyone who has supported this initiative, from our sponsors and partners to volunteers, musicians, and guests,”
“While we celebrate this achievement, the needs within our communities remain ongoing, and we hope this platform will continue creating a positive impact for many more years to come,” said Mr. Rajaa.
Supporting A Greater Cause

For Food Aid Foundation (FAF), the support from Charity Jam Session will help strengthen its efforts in fighting hunger and food insecurity across Malaysia.
“As FAF continues to grow nationwide, this support helps us rescue more surplus food, provide more meals, respond during emergencies, and empower communities through skills development programmes,”
“We are grateful to be part of this initiative not only as a beneficiary, but also as part of the organising team working together behind the scenes,” said Ms. Afraz Said, General Manager of Food Aid Foundation.
The Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) continues to support Charity Jam Session, reflecting the hospitality industry’s commitment towards community initiatives.
“Charity Jam Session shows the impact we can create when the industry comes together with a shared purpose. We are proud to see hotels, partners, and individuals continue supporting this initiative year after year,” said Mr. Isaac Raj, Chief Executive Officer of Malaysian Association of Hotels.
As co-organiser and host, The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur welcomed Charity Jam Session back to RP Entertainment Centre, reaffirming its support towards the initiative.

The 25th Charity Jam Session also marked the conclusion of Mr. SS Rajaa’s 25-year tenure as Organising Chairman. His dedication and leadership have played an important role in shaping Charity Jam Session into one of the hospitality industry’s longest-running charity events.
