Paris Fashion Week just got a little more glamorous, and Celine Dion made sure it ended on a high note!
With the Eiffel Tower lighting up the background, some of fashion and entertainment’s biggest names took over the runway for L’Oréal Paris Le Défilé 2026. But the biggest surprise of the night came when Celine Dion stepped out in a sleep back dress and performed her hit song I’m Alive, turning the fashion show into a mini concert.
Held on 28th September, the opening night of Paris Women’s Fashion Week, the star-studded event brought together models, actresses and athletes for an evening celebrating fashion, beauty and confidence.
A Star-Studded Runway Beneath The Eiffel Tower
This was no ordinary runway show. Held outdoors between the Eiffel Tower and the Ecole Militaire, L’Oréal Paris brought together an impressive lineup of familiar faces for its ninth edition of Le Défilé.
Kendall Jenner and Heidi Klum were among the models taking to the runway, alongside actress Andie MacDowell and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu. The show also featured American Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, and Italian Parlympian Beatrice Vio, bringing together personalities from fashion, entertainment, and sports.
Other ambassadors on the event’s announced lineup included Jane Fonda and Marie Bochet, reflecting the brand’s focus on bringing together women from different generations and backgrounds.
The show titled Express Your Worth, celebrated self-confidence, inclusion and solidarity among women. Makeup artist Harold James and his team led the makeup looks while Stephane Lancien and his team handled the hairstyles.
And with one of Paris’s most famous landmarks as the background, the runway had all the ingredients for a memorable Fashion Week moment.
Celine Dion Turns The Finale Into Her Own Concert
Just when everyone thought the evening could not get any better, Celine Dion arrived at the end of the runway to applause.
The singer kept her look effortlessly elegant in a long black sheath dress with her hair worn down, letting her performance take centre stage.
She then performed her hit song I’m Alive, giving the fashion crowd an unexpected musical finale. As she sang, several stars joined her on the runway, including Viola Davis, Aishwarya Rai, Simone Ashley, Aja Naomi King, and Eva Longoria.
The surprise appearance was the perfect way to close the show, bringing together music, fashion, and beauty beneath the Paris night sky.
From The Concert Stage To The Fashion Runway
Celine Dion’s appearance comes during her ongoing Paris concert series, which began on 12th September 2026 at the Plenitude Arena, formerly Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre.
Her schedule includes 16 performances between 12th September and 17th October 2026, followed by another 10 shows in May 2027.
The Fashion Week appearance fell between her concerts on 26th and 30th September, giving fans an unexpected performance outside her casual concert venue.

The singer also has an existing relationship with L’Oréal Paris. She became a brand ambassador in 2019, and the beauty brand is the official beauty partner of her Paris 2026-2027 concert series.
With her next scheduled concert on 30th September, Celine is keeping herself busy both onstage and on the fashion scene.
Fashion, Beauty, And A Front-Row Experience For Everyone
Beyond the celebrity appearances, L’Oréal Paris wanted this year’s show to reach audiences far beyond the usual Fashion Week crowd.
Unlike many invitation-only runway events, Le Défilé was open to the public, with a worldwide livestream available through Instagram, TikTok, and the brand’s digital platform.
The show also highlighted L’Oréal Paris’s growing focus on combining everyday beauty with a more luxurious image. According to the company, the brand reaches around 600 million consumers and was the biggest contributor to the L’Oréal Group’s growth during the first half of the year.
As L’Oréal Paris global president Laetitia Toupet explained ahead of the event, the brand is working towards a more luxurious image while remaining close to women around the world.
With a runway full of familiar faces, a glowing Eiffel Tower and Celine Dion delivering an unforgettable musical finale, L’Oréal Paris certainly gave Fashion Week a night to remember.
