10 Celebs & Friends React To Godfrey Gao’s Shocking Death

There’s no doubt that many of us are still shock at Godfrey Gao (高以翔)’s unexpected death. Life really is fragile, isn’t it?

In light of this sad event, a few Asian celebrities and Hollywood friends have taken to social media to pay tribute to the the 35-year-old model-actor.

1. Harry Shum Jr

“I am shocked & heartbroken to hear of Godfrey Gao’s untimely passing. He was a pioneer in the Asian community that stretched our imaginations on what was possible in the industry. To the original Magnus who left us way too soon, you left an impression on us that’ll last forever,” wrote Harry Shum Jr.

Qin Lan (co-star from “We Are All Alone”) recalled her meeting with Godfrey and shared what a gentleman the handsome man is. She also appreciated Godfrey for taking the time to show her the best places to find Taiwanese food.

Jiao Jun Yan wrote on Weibo of how filming “Remembering Lichuan” with Godfrey left a positive impact on her. “Just like how Xiaoqiu thought Lichuan never left, he was living well in another city. Classmate Yixiang, in another world, please continue being your slow-tempered self,” the 32-year-old Chinese star wrote.
