Other than his flawless look and low-bass timbre rapping, BIGBANG‘s T.O.P. is also very known for his lack of social media presence.
During the press conference for his photo exhibition “FROM TOP EXHIBITION” held at Horam Art Center in Seoul last year, T.O.P. revealed that the reason he has yet to create any social media account was because he “doesn’t enjoy taking selcas” and “doesn’t understand SNS”.
However, it seems like the rapper had a change of heart.
In preparation of his group’s upcoming comeback and world tour, he finally decided to offer his fans a look at his new hairdo by uploading his first square pictures.
Yes, you heard that right. BIGBANG’s T.O.P. is finally on Instagram and you can check out his first post below:
T.O.P teased his new look for the group’s upcoming comeback through 2 new photos of himself with his new hairdo. He also greeted his fans by captioning his first Instagram post (as seen above) with, “Hello stranger.”
In less than 24 hours, the rapper accumulated over 317 thousand followers. There’s no doubt that he will be able to gain the same amount of followers if he ever decides to set up his personal Twitter account or Facebook page.
So far, T.O.P is only following 6 people, including BIGBANG leader G-Dragon’s personal account as well as his fellow group member Taeyang. He has also shared another 4 photos, including a selfie on his newly created Instagram account.
