Like many millennials, Cathryn Li (李元玲) also recently received her appointment to get her vaccination jab. Ever since more vaccination centres have been set up, things have sped up quite a bit.
The Malaysian influencer took to Instagram to share the process when the frontliner on duty was giving her the first dose of Sinovac. As the needle was being injected into her right arm, she let out a soft scream.
Many were left amused by the few seconds clip. Some even commented that her scream reminds them of a cat or kitten squealing – in a cute way of course. Model Amber Chia – who also got her vaccination jab this week – left a laughing emoji in the comments section.
Besides that, Cathryn’s Instagram post was also bombarded with people questioning her choice of vaccine. “Why Sinovac and not Pfizer or AstraZeneca? Aren’t those more effective?” someone commented. The Malaysian beauty explained that the public aren’t given the luxury of choosing which vaccine to take. You accept what is offered – at least then you’re better protected.
