December is the month for engagements and weddings and our local celebs are no exception. In fact, Malaysian actress Carrie Lee Sze Kei (李诗琪) recently joined the list of bride-to-be after her boyfriend of three years proposed to her!
Wedding bells are ringing for Carrie Lee, much to the delight of her family and friends, after her boyfriend Rocky, proposed to her yesterday (15th December) during her birthday celebration. The joint celebration made her very happy, and we can see why, especially after we got a glimpse of her 20-carat diamond ring!
Carrie Lee recently turned 38 on 12th December, however, she only managed to hold a blow out birthday party with her friends and family at the Four Seasons Hotel yesterday. Her joyous celebration was only added to when mid-way through the party, her boyfriend, Rocky, got down on one knee to propose to her.
Carrie only had one question for her love. “Can you promise to give me everything?” she asked. “Yes. I promise,” Rocky responded. “Then, I (will) marry you,” she said immediately. As her family and friends cheered them on, Rocky very carefully slid the diamond ring onto her finger before the newly engaged couple exchanged a kiss and a hug.
A post of the 38-year-old actress posing with her ring was later uploaded to her Instagram. It also mentioned that she had gotten engaged with a 20-carat diamond ring. Carrie was later seen sporting the ring in her other photos, still looking as radiant as ever.
This isn’t the first time the Miss Cosmo World Founder has tied the knot though. Reportedly, she married Hong Kong businessman Stephen Chu (朱晨旸) in 2011. Well, regardless, we sincerely congratulate actress Carrie Lee and soon-to-be hubby Rocky on their engagement and wish them well!
