Over the years, we’ve had a handful of Korean idols releasing their seasonal Christmas songs, usually nearing the festive season. TWICE’s (트와이스) “Doughnut”, STRAY KIDS‘ (스트레이 키즈) “Christmas EveL”, and RED VELVET’s (레드벨벳) “Beautiful Christmas” are just some of the K-pop Christmas tunes now available on streaming sites.
As for BTS (방탄소년단), they have yet to release an official Christmas song as a group. However, a few members have posted their solo festive songs. For example, Jimin (지민) made “Christmas Love” and V (김태형) released “Christmas Tree” and “Snow Flower”. Recently, the latter artist announced that he’s coming out with another festive song for the upcoming season – a remix of “White Christmas”, with the one and only, Bing Crosby!

This collaboration was announced on 7th November at midnight (KST) on BTS’ official Twitter account. “White Christmas” by V and Bing Crosby will be officially released on 6th December at 12am KST. This means that Malaysians will be able to listen to the song on 5th December at 11pm local time, so look out for it!
After the news broke out, ARMYs have expressed excitement and support towards V for the upcoming song. A few also pointed out that the idol’s dog, Yeontan, also known as Tannie, is on the announcement poster, saying that the song will surely be a hit merely because of the appearance of the adorable puppy!

As of now, BigHit has yet to release a trailer for the remix, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled! Are you excited for this collaboration?
