BTS’ RM has spoken up about ongoing issues during the group’s world tour, asking fans to respect the members’ privacy and stop gathering outside their hotels.
The rapper shared his concerns through the fan community platform Weverse, explaining that large crowds waiting outside the group’s accommodation have been affecting the members, staff, and other hotel guests.
While RM appreciates the love and excitement from ARMYs, he hopes fans will understand the importance of giving the group enough space to rest between performances.
RM Opens Up About The Situation In Peru
During BTS’ tour stop in Lima, Peru, RM revealed that fans had been gathering outside the group’s hotel throughout the day, creating noise that could even be heard from their rooms.
“Members and staff are having a really hard time because of people staying outside our hotel all day,” RM shared on Weverse.
He explained that the noise has made it difficult for everyone to get enough sleep, especially with the group following a busy touring schedule.

RM also expressed concern for other hotel guests who may be affected by the crowds, reminding fans that their actions can impact people beyond the BTS members
RM Asks Fans To Respect Their Privacy
Following the situation in Peru, RM urged fans not to wait outside BTS’ hotels during their upcoming tour stops in Chile, Brazil, and Argentina, as well as the group’s later performances across Asia.
Although he understands that fans are excited to welcome BTS to their countries, RM stressed that proper rest is important for the members to deliver their best performances.
“We appreciate the warm welcome and enthusiasm, but if we can’t get enough rest and sleep, it will affect the performances we share with you,” he explained.
His message was a reminder that while fan support means a lot to the group, respecting personal boundaries is equally important.
V And Jungkook Have Also Raised Similar Concerns
This is not the first time BTS members have addressed privacy concerns during their tour.
In July, V took Weverse to ask fans not to visit the group’s hotels, explaining that their accommodation should remain private.
He also highlighted how such situations could affect the members’ physical condition and preparation for performances.
Later in August, V and Jungkook reportedly experienced another uncomfortable situation when approximately 20 fans approached them at a hotel gym early in the morning.
The incident added to the growing concerns about the members’ privacy while travelling.
Supporting BTS Means Respecting Their Space
As BTS continues its world tour, RM’s message serves as a reminder that artists need personal time away from the spotlight.
While fans may hope to catch a glimpse of their favourite idols outside concerts, respecting their accommodation and private spaces helps ensure the members can rest comfortably.
