It looks like Bruno Mars is making his comeback – and it only took him ten years. Following the colossal success of his 2016 album, “24K Magic”, the American popstar said he’s ready to release more solo music.
On 6th January 2026 (Tuesday, MYT), Bruno took to Twitter to casually drop a very highly anticipated update: “My album is done.” With that update, the singer confirmed that his fourth album is ready, after a nearly ten-year wait. While the tweet comprised four words, it was enough to generate a lot of buzz amongst fans and music lovers alike.

The upcoming project marks Bruno’s first solo release since his Grammy-winning 2016 album, “24K Magic”. The album spawned hits like “24K Magic”, “Finesse” and “That’s What I Like” and is arguably one of the singer’s most successful works to date. As such, many fans have been waiting for Bruno to release another album to top the 2016 release.
While Bruno confirmed that his album is complete, he hasn’t shared any details about the release, so fans will likely have to wait a little longer until it comes out. Nevertheless, the public is already excited for the release. Many even quipped that it’s about time that Bruno drops another solo album after all his recent collaborations.

Since the release of “24K Magic”, Bruno has dedicated his time to his Silk Sonic project with Anderson .Paak. He also released duets with Lady Gaga, SexxxyRed, and BLACKPINK member Rosé (로제). The latter’s megahit, “APT.” is even nominated for “Song of the Year” and “Record of the Year” at the upcoming Grammy Awards.
Of course, the ten-year break from solo releases didn’t mean Bruno hadn’t been busy. However, the singer could perform and tour a lot more once the new album is released. Are you excited for Bruno’s fourth album?
