The internet blew up when it was reported that that Bruno Mars will be bringing his “24K Magic World Tour” to Malaysia next year.

Tickets for his 2018 Kuala Lumpur concert went live at 10am this morning (Monday, 14th August). 2 hours later, PR Worldwide officially announced Bruno Mars’ concert tickets were sold out. As expected, several tickets are already being resold by scalpers at a much higher price.

As you may know, the initial prices for Mars’ upcoming concert are RM398 (Cat 3), RM598 (Cat 2), and RM888 (Cat 1). Following the announcement of Mar’s sold out concert, many have taken to social media to request willing resellers to sell them their tickets. As at time of writing, there are 17 tickets currently available at resellers site, Viagogo.

A quick observation at the price range shows that tickets for Cat 3 are now being resold between RM1193 – RM1933. That’s almost 5 times the original price! Meanwhile tickets for Cat 2 are being resold at RM3409, which is more than 5 times the initial amount. Is anyone desperate enough to fork out this much cash for second-hand tickets?

If you do, take note that PR Worldwide will be tracking down resellers.

The organiser issued a statement, saying, “We will also continue to curtail secondary tickets being sold at inflated prices as this contravenes our ticket sales terms and conditions… Therefore, any ticket that is put on sale by secondary market are not valid tickets. We would like to urge all fans to refrain from purchasing tickets through unauthorised resellers as these will be voided and holders will be denied access to the venue“.

To unlucky fans who didn’t get to successfully purchase the Bruno Mars concert tickets, maybe you’d like to consider his other pitstops at Bangkok (Thailand), Manila (Philippines), or Japan.

Best of luck ?
