October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) Malaysia is continuing its effort to make breast health an important conversation among Malaysians.

Returning with its 2026 Breast Cancer Campaign, themed “Breast Care is Self-Care,” the company is encouraging women to make breast health part of their everyday wellness routines through education, community activities and fundraising.

This year’s campaign will support three Malaysians organizations: National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM), Cancer Research Malaysia (CRMY) and Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA).

Over Three Decades Of Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness

The Estée Lauder Companies’ commitment to breast cancer awareness began in 1992, when Evelyn H. Lauder co-created the Pink Ribbon and founded the company’s Breast Cancer Campaign.

What started as an effort to encourage conversations about breast cancer has grown into a global movement supporting research, education, and early detection.

Over the years, The Estée Lauder Companies and its Charitable Foundation have committed more than $182 million towards breast cancer initiatives worldwide, including over $146 million for research through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

Today, the campaign supports more than 50 organizations globally, continuing Evelyn Lauder’s vision of working towards a world without breast cancer.

Join The Pink Charity Run On 18th October

One of the main highlights of this year’s campaign is the Pink Charity Run 2026, organized in partnership with JomRun.

Taking place on 18th October 2026 at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur, the event invites Malaysians to come together for a meaningful cause.

Whether you prefer running, jogging, or simply walking, the event welcomes participants of different fitness levels, making it a great opportunity to show support alongside family and friends.

More importantly, all ticket proceeds will be donated to the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) to support individuals and families affected by cancer.

The event aims to turn breast cancer awareness into action while bringing communities together for a good cause.

Shop The Pink Ribbon Advanced Night Repair Serum For A Cause

Beyond the charity run, Malaysians can also support the campaign through a special beauty purchase.

Throughout the campaign, shoppers can visit Estée Lauder stores nationwide to purchase the Pink Ribbon Advanced Night Repair Serum (50ML).

In support of breast cancer awareness, 100% of proceeds from each purchase will be donated to Cancer Research Malaysia (CRMY) and the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA).

It’s an opportunity for beauty lovers to contribute towards breast cancer research and support services while making a purchase.

Throughout October, ELC Malaysia will also work with local content creators, advocates and community partners to share information about breast health, early detection and screening.

Making Breast Health Part Of Your Self-Care Routine

While breast cancer awareness has grown over the years, breast cancer remains the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women worldwide.

Through its Breast Care is Self-Care message, Estée Lauder hopes to encourage women to take small but meaningful steps towards looking after their health.

According to guidance from the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, there are several ways to make breast health a priority:

  • Understand your risk: Speak to a healthcare professional about your personal and family health history.
  • Know your body: Be familiar with how your breast normally looks and feel, and seek medical advice if you notice changes.
  • Keep up with screenings: Follow mammogram and screening recommendations based on your age and personal risk factors
  • Practice healthy habits: Stay physically active, maintain a healthy weight, limit alcohol and avoid smoking.
  • Talk about breast health: Encourage friends and loved ones to have open conversations about early detection and prevention.

These simple habits can help women become more aware of their breast health and take action when needed.

A Little Care Can Make A Big Difference

Through its Pink Charity Run, special Pink Ribbon serum and community awareness activities, The Estée Lauder Companies Malaysia is encouraging more Malaysians to turn breast cancer awareness into meaningful action.

Whether its participating in the charity run, supporting the fundraising campaign or simply reminding someone to prioritize their breast health, every effort can help keep the conversation going.

After all, self-care isn’t only about looking good or feeling good. It’s also about taking care of your health, and breast care deserves to be part of that routine.
