Malaysia is a favoured travel destination for many Hong Kong stars. However, some celebrities frequent our country more than others. Recently, actor Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) was spotted hanging around in the Klang Valley.
A netizen recently posted their encounter with the star on XiaoHongShu. In the post, the user revealed they met a TVB actor while shopping in MUJI at 1 Utama Shopping Centre. The user also shared photos of the actor with his back turned, asking netizens to guess the mystery star’s identity. Despite showing little of his face, many Bosco fans immediately got it right.
Another XiaoHongShu user shared their encounter with Bosco, this time at a restaurant in Bukit Bintang. The user also got to take a photo with the star, who dressed casually in a white t-shirt, beige shorts and a black bucket hat. The user said the actor was very polite and handsome in person. She also confirmed that the meeting happened very recently, on 4th March 2025 (Tuesday).
Both posts received a lot of traction from netizens, many of whom envied the two users for being able to meet the actor. Some also wished to stumble across the star while in Malaysia. However, it’s unlikely that Bosco is in town for any official schedule because many fans noted that the 44-year-old often visits Malaysia in his free time. For those unaware, the actor is known to have invested in a few local properties.
Funnily, some even joked that he might find a Malaysian wife and settle down here, given how often he visits. It’s also worth noting that Bosco remains low-key while in town and hangs out at more “humble” spots. Last year, some fans stumbled upon the star while he was dining at a street stall in Setapak. Fans have also seen him in many local malls in the Klang Valley area, including Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
