The global craze for BLACKPINK (블랙핑크) is real! Just hours after ticket sales for their upcoming world tour went live, the group had already sold out some of the world’s largest venues in Europe and North America.
If you haven’t heard, BLACKPINK is going back on tour this year with their 2025 world tour. The group will perform in several cities, including London, Los Angeles and Paris. Ticket sales went live yesterday (27th February 2025, Thursday MYT), with others opening ticket sales earlier this morning. However, most venues have already sold out, showcasing the girl group’s selling power.

According to reports, tickets to BLACKPINK’s concert at Wembley Stadium in London, Stade de France in Paris, SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Citi Field in New York and Rogers Stadium in Toronto all sold out in under an hour. If you’re wondering, all these stadiums have an estimated capacity of around 40,000 to 80,000. While there are no exact numbers for the number of tickets sold, the group is still the fastest K-pop act to sell out all these venues.
In response to the overwhelming support, YG Entertainment and Live Nation announced additional dates to the tour. According to the announcement, BLACKPINK will perform a second show in Los Angeles on 13th July 2025 (Sunday), in Toronto on 23rd July 2025 (Wednesday), in New York on 27th July 2025 (Sunday), in Paris on 3rd August 2025 (Sunday) and in London on 16th August 2025 (Saturday).

As of writing, tickets for BLACKPINK’s concerts at Soldier Field in Chicago, Ippodromo Snai La Maura in Milan and Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Spain are now available and are selling fast. Additional shows for these three venues are to be expected. Meanwhile, ticket sales for the quartet’s shows in Seoul and Tokyo have yet to go live. However, judging from the situation, we’re sure they’ll sell out those venues too.
In the meantime, fans in other Asian and Southeast Asian countries, including Malaysia, are hoping the girls will drop concert details in their countries soon. What are your thoughts on this? Are you excited to see BLACKPINK back on tour?
