The refreshed design gives the BIRKENSTOCK experience a modern twist while staying true to its 250-year heritage and use of natural materials.
At the heart of this new concept is BIRKENSTOCK’s iconic Footbed, the foundation of every pair of BIRKENSTOCKS. The store’s interiors mirror this essence, featuring authentic and sustainable materials such as cork, leather, and wood. Every detail is thoughtfully designed to echo the brand’s commitment to quality, comfort, and environmental consciousness.
One of the key highlights is the Brand Timeline, displayed on a central pillar that takes visitors on a visual journey through BIRKENSTOCK’s remarkable 250-year history. It’s more than just décor; it’s a storytelling element that celebrates the evolution of craftsmanship, design, and innovation that continue to shape the brand today.
Developed by BIRKENSTOCK’s in-house retail design team, the new concept marks a major evolution after five years with the previous design direction. The result is a serene yet stylish space that embodies the brand’s values—craftsmanship, natural materials, and enduring comfort—while offering customers a more immersive shopping experience.

Guests enjoyed a live portrait painting session inspired by their BIRKENSTOCK style and a personalisation station where they could customise their own sandals, turning every pair into a statement of individuality and creativity.
