BIGBANG’s T.O.P is embroiled in a dating scandal.
The rapper, whose real name is Choi Seung Hyun, has been rumoured to be dating Chinese celebrity Asia Chow. Chinese media outlets picked up the news today (Monday, 5th December), but fans have reportedly noticed their various interactions on Instagram some time ago.
Media outlets reported that the pair was dating based on their interactions on the photo sharing app, as they have been spotted liking each others’ photos for quite an amount time. However, rumours only gained traction when it was revealed that Asia Chow had visited South Korea recently.
Her trip to the country is also heavily documented on her Instagram, but sadly, it has garnered many negative and terrible comments from fans. While there is no definite proof that T.O.P and Asia Chow are an item, it did not stop overly obsessive fans from leaving death threats. Fortunately, there are some fans who are supportive of the news and left positive messages in a bid to drown out the negativity.
The agencies of both artistes have yet to comment on the issue.
T.O.P has been accepted as a member of the band in the Seoul District Police and will be enlisting in the army on 9th February 2017. He will begin his training at the army training centre before receiving further training at the police school.
However, BIGBANG will be having a comeback before the eldest member’s conscription, and is slated to release their full “MADE” album on 12th December.
