Four good celebrity friends are coming together for a special concert this July.
Dato’ Awie, Dato’ Afdlin Shauki, Dato’ AC Mizal and Dato’ Hans Isaac will be performing on stage together for Baik Punya Concert 4D. (Yes, the 4D stands for 4 Datos).
To commemorate their long-lasting friendship, the special concert will not only feature music performances from the BFFs but will also tell the journey of these four friends which will be presented in short sketches.
The performances by Dato’ Awie, Dato’ Afdlin Shauki, Dato’ AC Mizal and Dato’ Hans Isaac will be accompanied by a music group led by renowned musical director Datuk Acis.
The concert title is a tribute to the successful comedy film “Baik Punya Cilok” which starred the four actors and has been adapted into a theater play in 2015.
But that wasn’t the only movie which featured the four talents, they also acted together in the comedy “Cuci” which also spawned its own musical, and the award-winning “Buli”.
Fans of the cast can expect to hear the original soundtracks from “Cuci”, “Buli”, and “Baik Punya Cilok” as well as their musical counterparts, and also other evergreen Malay hits from yesteryears to today.
Baik Punya Concert 4D will be held from 26th to 28th July 2018 at Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur.
