Malaysian designer, Dickson Lim, is making local fashion enthusiasts (and himself!) proud after his design was spotted on celebrity stylist, Ty Hunter, as he appeared at the 2026 Met Gala alongside the one and only, Beyonce.
Taking to his Instagram account, Dickson beamed with excitement as Ty Hunter was spotted and photographed wearing his design at fashion’s most prestigious and glamorous event, with an image of Beyonce and Ty landing on the cover page of The Wall Street Journal.
“I woke up to my design on the front cover of The Wall Street Journal… with Beyonce.”
“I genuinely thought this was fake for a second. My design on the front cover of The Wall Street Journal… alongside Beyonce,” he wrote.
The menswear designer also took the time to show his appreciation to the celebrity stylist for helping him achieve something he didn’t think he could.
“Surreal. Thank you, Ty, for helping realise a dream I never thought was possible,” Dickson added.
