With the brand’s recent campaign, “When You Drink, Never Drive” (WYDND), the Netherlands-based brewery emphasises the responsibility people must exercise when consuming alcohol — the best driver doesn’t drink, unless it is Heineken® 0.0. This crucial message was effectively conveyed in a potent brand film starring three-time Formula 1® World Champion and WYDND campaign ambassador Max Verstappen.
To drive the message of When You Drive, Never Drink, Heineken® introduced Player 0.0 – a virtual racing game at its microsite that will put your driving skills and reflexes to the test! Compete with friends and strangers alike on a global leaderboard to prove who is the best of the best.
If you don’t get a chance to play the virtual game, but think you have what it takes to be the number one player in the country, then prove it at the Player 0.0 Malaysia Finals open qualifiers at The Piazza, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, on 24th August at 11am, where players fight for a chance to be a part of the Player 0.0 Malaysia Finals! The fastest lap times set on simulators will proceed to the final race!
Here, top Malaysian finalists – comprising top scorers from the Player 0.0, as well as the qualifiers – will compete for the chance to travel to the global final in Spain on an all-expenses-paid trip to represent Malaysia and get the chance to compete against racing icon Max Verstappen! Those who place second and third shouldn’t feel down in case they don’t make it in, because they will still be eligible to get a two-person, fully-paid trip to see the F1® Singapore Grand Prix!
