Traditionally, an affogato is a shot of espresso served over ice-cream, a decadent experience of bold brew offset with creamy richness. That was until The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Malaysia took charge, of course.
Kicking off the new “Pouring Happy” concept, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s, Affogato-style Ice Blended drink is inspired by the Italian appreciation for the good life and brings a whole new dimension to Malaysians’ favourite Mocha, Hazelnut, Caramel and Vanilla Ice Blended drinks 😉
And that’s not all!
They even want to reward you for it – sorta.
Beginning 13th June 2015, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in partnership with Naza Premira Sdn Bhd, will be launching “Bean on a Vespa” – a nationwide social media contest that will take place across The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf stores in Klang Valley, Johor, and Penang over 4 consecutive weekends.
To stand a chance to win weekly prizes, all you have to do is visit one of these selected stores where a Vespa will be on display, snap a photo with the Vespa and your newly purchased Affogato-style Ice Blended drink, then immediately post it on Instagram using the hashtag #beanonavespa.
Here’s a step-by-step to make it a little easier:
Weekly prizes include the Vespa sweatshirt worth RM580, RM50 preloaded The Coffee Bean (TBC) cards, and a The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf limited edition T-shirt, as well as a gift hamper courtesy of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
To stand a chance to win the Grand Prize of a Vespa LT150 worth over RM10,000*, just submit the photos taken on all 4 weekends to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf as a Facebook photo album link with a creative caption using the terms “Affogato-style Ice Blended drink” and “Vespa” in 25 words or less and hashtag #beanonavespa, by 12pm on 8th July 2015.
