A Bare Foot On The Arm Rest? TikToker Responded By Pouring Water On It

Let’s face it! Flight journeys are the worst. Whether it’s the flight food, limited leg space or even the post-flight jet lag, flights especially, long ones are horrifying to many. What’s worse is the attitude of some passengers who would behave in a rude manner to the other passengers or the cabin crew, in some cases.

Recently, a TikTok video of a flight passenger reacting to the person behind him, propping up a foot on his seat’s armrest made rounds on various social media platforms. This was from the account of @the.walker.twins, comprising of twins, Andrew and Ashton Walker.

From the video, it could be seen that one of the twins, poured water on the person’s barefoot, which was apparently resting on his seat’s armrest. The purpose of his actions was to fend the person’s feet off his armrest.

Until now, it is very unclear if this video was staged but it was proven to be an effective trick. This video, which featured the tune of “Into the Thick of It” by the Backyardigans shows its viewers the bare foot of the passenger before panning back to the Tik Toker’s own face. Then, he proceeds to splash some bottled water over the foot of the passenger. After feeling the drip, the passenger drops his foot from the armrest.

The caption, of the video, says, “Had to do something” and it has now reached a total of 456,200 likes and 4.9 million views as of 9th July. Although the video was humorous in nature, it is indeed common courtesy to respect one another regardless of the location. Putting up your leg on another passenger’s armrest is definitely unacceptable.
