Ahead of their 15th anniversary, K-pop group B1A4 (비원에이포) announces a new beginning. The trio recently announced that they’re leaving their longtime agency and establishing an independent label.
On Christmas Eve (24th December 2025, Wednesday), WM Entertainment released a statement about B1A4’s contract expiration. The agency writes, “After in-depth discussions with B1A4, we have agreed to end our exclusive contract. We would like to sincerely thank the B1A4 members, who have been with us for the past 14 years, based on a foundation of trust.”

B1A4 debuted in 2011 as a five-member group and currently consists of members CNU, Sandeul and Gongchan. Following the news of their contract expiration, the trio announced the establishment of their new independent label, B1A4 Company. The idols will continue their activities under the new label, serving as both in-house directors and artists.
The company will partner with Hieut-Pieut, a comprehensive content production company, which will handle management duties. Meanwhile, B1A4 Company will oversee the overall content planning, development and production. According to reports, the idols have been preparing for an independent venture under the same group name for quite some time.

B1A4 shared their thoughts on the new venture in a statement, saying, “The three of us established B1A4 Company with the desire to continue staying close to our fans and promoting steadily. As this is a new challenge, we feel both excited and nervous, but we plan to overcome it together by relying on one another.”
The group also asked for the fans’ continued support in the future, especially for their upcoming 15th anniversary. B1A4 has hinted at plans for various commemorative events, so we wish them all the best in the next step in their career.
