Ashley Chu (朱智賢) is finally ready to face the public again after being caught in a cheating scandal with married actor Jackson Lai (黎振燁).
The 34-year-old star changed her Instagram privacy to public again earlier this week. However, she has turned off the comments section – probably to avoid online trolls from leaving nasty remarks.
The TVB actress has obviously been doing a lot of thinking and reflection throughout her 2-week hiatus. Since changing her IG to public again, Ashley shared 2 meaningful quotes. They read:
- “Stop trying to calm the storm. Calm yourself. The storm will pass.”
- “If everything was perfect, you would never learn and you would never grow.” – Beyonce
Both quotes speak about braving through adversaries and coming out on the other side, stronger than before. Although Ashley has stepped down from hosting duties for “Scoop” and was replaced for a box series (starring Karl Ting), TVB has publicly said that they’ll continue to support her.
Although Jackson has a 10-year contract with TVB, his future in entertainment remains uncertain.
