If you have been holding out on buying an iPhone, we’re happy to announce that your patience has paid off.

To borrow a quote: gadget fans are excited that iPhone 8 is coming out. Others are excited because that means iPhone 7 is cheaper which means the earlier iPhone models are even cheaper! That right peeps, you don’t have to sell your kidneys just yet 😉

There are 10 iPhone models available in Malaysia at the moment, ranging from the entry level iPhone SE to the iPhone 7s Plus. While the iPhone SE has gotten the least amount of discount, with only RM200 off from RM1949 to RM1749, it’s still the most affordable iPhone on sale.

However, if you’ve been eyeing the iPhone 6 models or last year’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, these models are now RM450 cheaper. It’s no secret that Apple would usually cut the price of existing iPhones when a new model is about to be released. Lowyat.Net speculates that the forthcoming iPhone 8 may be slightly more expansive since the model starts with 64GB of storage.

Take a look at the price difference in the photos below:

What do y’all think? Are you going to purchase one of the cheaper iPhone models or hold out for iPhone 8?

On a separate note, Apple has quietly increased several iPad Pro models in Malaysia by RM250. They include the 256GB and 512GB versions of the 10.5” and 12.9” iPad Pros.
