Keretapi Sarong

Malaysia Day is this weekend and that means the return of the annual ‘Keretapi Sarong’ event! Join Malaysians of all races and ages as they gather to celebrate the occasion in their traditional attire and, of course, their sarongs. The event will start at selected train stations, so for more info on where to go, click here!

NIJIKET Vol.1 2023

Calling all anime enthusiasts and fans of Japanese pop culture! Prepare yourself for another exciting anime expo, brought to you by the folks at Nijiket. Get ready to check out all the talented artists and cosplayers showcasing their incredible works and costumes. There will also be live performances, plus exclusive screenings, so click here to get your tickets!

Karnival Sevenscapes

If you love food, music and exciting activities, then make a beeline for MyTown Shopping Centre this weekend! At Karnival Sevenscapes, there will be tons of good food, a concert featuring incredible performers like Tomok, Ara Johari and DJ Blink, and exciting activities for the entire family. Spend Like Lokal

Celebrate Malaysia Day by supporting these incredible local brands and businesses! Besides supporting your local vendors at the ‘Spend Like Lokal’ festival, you can also look forward to catching a fantastic lineup of performances, a wide array of delightful Malaysian cuisines and a whole day of fun activities. JEBAT

Set in a post-apocalyptic Malaysia, this story follows the life and death of Jebat and his desire for freedom, love and respect. This English language stage production may just be the first of its kind, telling the story of Jebat in a production mixing specially composed live music, martial arts and amazing set and costume designs. Tamu KL

Adding to our list of events is yet another incredible festival featuring local brands and businesses – but with a cultural twist! Brought to you in collaboration with the National Department of Culture and Arts, Tamu KL is a delightful bazaar serving tons of cultural and traditional products and crafts, plus some yummy food and beverages in the mix. Pesta Santai Santai

It wouldn’t be a complete Malaysia Day weekend without a trip to Central Market – so why not check out Pesta Santai-Santai while you’re there this weekend?
