Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but nothing is better than being yourself. And most are happy with how Ban Seo Jin (潘南奎), a South Korean model once known for looking like actress Angelababy (楊穎), has changed!
Ban Seo Jin is well-known among the Chinese internet celebs circle, especially after her expensive plastic surgery. But, things have apparently changed a lot after she claimed she had been beaten by her company boss. In fact, she recently shared she would be returning to South Korea soon!
The 34-year-old model was once famous for getting plastic surgery worth 1 billion won (~RM3.4 million). Said surgery ended up making her famous, especially after many claimed she looked like actress Angelababy. Unfortunately, not long after that, she went viral in April 2020 for a different reason, after she shared a physical spat she had with her then-company’s CEO.
Seo Jin had allegedly been juggling jobs between South Korea and China, while working with a company she trusted. But, things apparently went wrong when she had a fight with her company’s CEO. He allegedly got physical with her and she uploaded proof of herself with bruises, including a photo of an injury on her mouth. But, she later deleted the post and left the company.
Since then, Seo Jin has been sharing more of her life on her socials. In fact, one of her recent videos showed her styling herself in various outfits. This earned praised from fans as they claimed she now looked less like Angelababy and had a more personal and unique style. Additionally, the model revealed she has plans to move back to South Korea to settle. The news has notably pleased her fans.
Well, kudos to Ban Seo Jin for deciding to do what’s best for her, and sticking to it! Hopefully she’ll have a better time of it in South Korea and perhaps truly come into her own there.
