Chinese actress Angelababy (杨颖) hasn’t been in many acting projects lately. However, her every move continues to pique the curiosity of netizens. Recently, the star was spotted at an airport with her son, but it was her airport outfit that caught people’s attention.
Earlier this week, a XiaoHongShu user posted on the platform, revealing that she had met Angelababy and her son, affectionately nicknamed Little Sponge, while on a plane from Shanghai to Hong Kong. In the captions, the user praised the star’s beauty, saying she looked pretty even while wearing a face mask. After disembarking the plane, the XiaoHongShu user bumped into the mother-son duo at the baggage claim.
In her post, the user also shared some photos of Angelababy and Little Sponge at the baggage claim. While their faces weren’t shown, the 36-year-old could be seen wearing a simple jacket and jeans combo, with a cap to cover her face. She also brought a white bag, which appeared to be packed with items. The star and her son were also spotted with two large suitcases, which the XiaoHongShu user revealed that Angelababy carried without any assistance.
The photos went viral and garnered many comments from netizens. Some also began calculating Angelababy’s outfit, only to realise that her simple ensemble costs over HK$100,000 (approximately RM54,000). The bulk of the cost was her two suitcases, which are from Rimowa, and her Chanel handbag. However, her jacket and jeans were also pricey, costing 2030 yuan (approximately RM1,200) and 4,600 yuan (approximately RM2,700) respectively.

Besides analysing her outfit, many netizens also commented on Angelababy’s close relationship with her son. After divorcing her ex-husband, actor Huang Xiaoming (黄晓明), in 2022, the actress gained custody of Little Sponge, but the two are co-parenting. Many praised her for being a good mother, noting that she often takes her son on trips and doesn’t rely on nannies. Just last month, Angelababy and Little Sponge were spotted vacationing in Singapore.
