The 2017 American Music Awards is happening right now, and we will be bringing you all the live updates as it goes down.
DJ Khaled, Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, and Lil Wayne successfully bagged the award in the Favourite Song – Rap/Hip Hop category for “I’m The One”. DJ Khaled and co defeated the likes of Kendrick Lamar for “Humble” and Rae Sremmurd ft. Gucci Mane for “Black Beatles”.
The hit song is also up for another award, nominated in the Collaboration of the Year category.
“I’m praying that we take home that trophy,” DJ Khaled told ET last Saturday. “But either way, I’m grateful for the nomination[s].”
Meanwhile, Imagine Dragons outclassed Coldplay and The Chainsmokers to pick up the award for Favourite Group – Pop/Rock.
The Chainsmokers bagged the award for Favourite Artist – EDM, beating out DJ Snake and Calvin Harris.
