The Oscars are upon us once more, and as always, ten films are competing for the top prize: Best Picture. The ceremony will be held on Sunday, 16th March, which means there’s still time to watch the films for the line-up. Adapted by Mary Shelley’s 19th century novel, “Frankenstein” follows Dr. Victor Frankenstein (Oscar Isaac), an egotistical scientist, and his experiment in creating new life a.k.a a monster (Jacob Elordi), resulting in dangerous consequences.

“Hamnet” is a dramatisation of William Shakespeare (Paul Mescal) and his wife Agnes’ (Jessie Buckley) family life, focusing on the tragedy that inspires Shakespeare to write “Hamlet”.
